About Mordaunt-Short's Carnival Range
Like all Mordaunt-Short products, Carnival is developed in the UK by a
dedicated research and development team and benefits from the company's
trademark engineering excellence. Carnival models are ideal for stereo or
home-theatre set-ups and have been developed as a complete range making them
easy to mix and match.
The sleek cabinets house high performance drive
units including an elegant elliptical tweeter design. Polypropylene capacitors
give a clearer signal and improved resolution while low saturation inductors
mean reduced distortion and better dynamics. They also take in bespoke
Mordaunt-Short wiring and as with any product from this stable are structurally
well braced.

The Mordaunt-Short Carnival 8 is an
imposing floorstander that handles a massive 150 watts of power thanks to its
two substantial 6.5” woven composite cone drivers. At high frequencies, these
smart Carnival 8s provide incredible detail while maintaining an impressive
level of refinement.

About the
Carnival 5 Centre Loudspeaker
Developed as a dedicated centre
speaker, the Carnival 5 is designed in a woofer-tweeter-woofer configuration for
best dispersion and is equally comfortable with dialogue as it is with music. It
is ideal for entry-level 5.1 or 6.1 home-cinema set-ups. Two high performance
3.5 inch woven composite drive units maximize rigidity and reduce distortion.
The Carnival 5 is magnetically shielded and supplied with rubber dome feet so
that it sits neatly on top of most TVs without causing damage and does not
interfere with the picture.

The Mordaunt-Short Carnival 2 is a punchy and substantial speaker which is
ideal for bookshelf mounting but comes into its own on a dedicated stand. Unlike
many similarly sized speakers, it offers an incredibly rich performance coupled
with a deep sound. The Carnival 2 is capable of controlling 100 watts and offers
impressive bass management.
